Wooden chairs are beautiful and add elegance to any home. But, as anyone who has sat on one of these chairs for an extended time knows, they can become uncomfortable. Naturally, adding a seat cushion is one of the best ways to help make for comfortable seating arrangements.
Cushions are not immune to their own issues, though: they do tend to slip, making it a chore to keep them in place. The best solution for this is to get some of the rubbery mesh designed to keep rugs from sliding. It works just the same as for a rug but it’s fashioned into a smaller size. Just spread out the mesh, cut it in a way that’s small enough to remain hidden under the cushion, and you’re golden.
So long as you take care in sizing up your mesh, people who sit on your chairs will never know the difference. Or at least they won’t until they sit down and realize they’re not going anywhere!
