Most of us want to make the most of our closet space, but recessed space at the ends of the closet can seem impossible to utilize efficiently. But, it is possible to create nook shelves that can easily hold blankets, towels, or whatever other small items you need to store safely.
The best way to create these shelves is with wire models. You’ll want to measure the width and depth of your available space first, then subtract 3/8 of an inch from the width to determine the shelf length. From there, you can pick out shelving you like and ask the salesperson to cut it into the appropriate length for your space.
When you’re ready to install the shelves, you’ll need a pair of end mounting brackets and a pair of plastic clips for each shelf. From there, you just need to attach your shelves to the wall, test them for weight, and then take advantage of your new storage space!
