Everyone knows the frustration of vinyl windows or doors that don’t operate well. Often, gunk will build up in the channels and make it difficult for windows to move on the track. If you’ve cleaned the windows and they are still difficult to use, then you might want to think about a dry PTFE lubricant. Spray it on the contact points and wipe it down with a rag.
Do not use oil lubricants! These lubricants can damage vinyl and will often attract dirt. Once your window works smoothly again, remember to keep it clean throughout the year. This will help keep it functioning properly.
